So that the thread can slip through unhindered, the bobbin housing must be raised at this time. As a result the required seam construction is achieved with the lowest possible thread tension. The stroke of the material presser foot 1 and the feed foot 2 should be the same height. 5 Correction ­ Unscrew the arm cover. ­ Turn the hand wheel to position "0°". ­ Press feeder foot 2 right down onto the throat plate.
