[. . . ] REMOTE CIRCULATING WATER PUMP KIT P/N 125208 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL These instructions are for Remote Control Water Pump Kit used in conjunction with all Aspen hydronic air Handlers. [. . . ] When the thermostat is satisfied, both relays de-energize causing both the blower motor and circulating pump to stop operating until the next call for heat. The kit must be installed in the hot water lines supplying hot water to the air handler. The arrow on the pump must be pointed in the direction of water flow. Physical location of the pump must be such that the motor is in horizontal attitude making sure that electrical box is not under the circulator. PLUMBING Piping between the water heater, circulating pump kit and air handler should not exceed 200 ft. The run of the piping must be adequately insulated to avoid any freezing and or excessive water temperature loss. Use low-temp lead-free solder for soldering joints. Water lines to and from air handler must be taken from horizontal connection of the “T” fitting in the vertical hot and cold water supply lines at the water heater.
