[. . . ] Troubleshooting Guide: No Sound from Any Speakers: [Diagnosis] Is there Power to the System? · Ensure that your subwoofer is plugged securely into a working AC wall outlet and power indicator is ON. · Ensure that the Power Switch on the subwoofer is ON. [. . . ] · Most computers contain a standard two-channel soundcard and will not require any adjustments to the speaker configuration. · Adjust your computer's internal volume settings for left-right balance. · Ensure that there are no nicks, cuts, kinks in your input cable. · Jiggle the cables at the subwoofer input sockets whilst playing music through the system to detect a break in the audio signal. · Adjust the Master Volume Control whilst playing music through the system to determine whether the level of distortion changes. · Determine if the problem persists in the same channel or moves to the opposite channel when the left and right speaker connections and reversed. No Sound or Weak Bass from the Subwoofer: [Diagnosis] Is the Bass Volume Too Low? · Adjust your computer's internal treble and bass volume settings to mid-level. · Increase the Bass Volume on the rear of the subwoofer. * Note: Some source material has very little bass content. Test your system with different source materials for best results. Sound is Distorted: [Diagnosis] Are your Volume Settings too High? · Adjust your computer's volume settings to mid-level to avoid distorted or clipped signals. · Decrease the Master Volume on your Controller/Subwoofer.
