 [. . . ] VALVEMATETM 6000 Valve Controller Operating Manual

The VALVEMATETM 6000 Valve Controller provides a compact,  convenient interface between automatic assembly machines and EFD dispense valves. The assembly machine controls the dispense valve open and close function.  [. . . ] If a solid state device is used for the 5 to 24 VDC initiation,  a relay must be used with the relay contacts providing the closure. (The connector supplied with the unit can be used for either configuration. ) As an alternate method,  connection can be initiated with a standard EFD foot pedal #2015A (not supplied) plugged into the receptacle.

Rear panel

 Air Input Connection. Connect the VALVEMATETM
6000 to plant air by first installing the EFD five-micron filter regulator (#2000F755) to your air supply. Install the air tee with barb fitting (#1116) in the output of the filter regulator. A 10-ft 1/4" OD air line is supplied. Using the barb fitting supplied,  connect one end to the #1116 air tee. Connect the other end of the air line by pushing it firmly into the air input connector on the VALVEMATE 6000TM. Set the pressure at the #2000F755 filter regulator to 70 psi (4. 8 bar). 

 Control Air Output. Push the male quick-connect on
the valve air hose into the air output fitting on the back of the controller and turn clockwise to lock. Follow the setup instructions in the EFD dispense valve operating manual. Place a container under the valve outlet.  [. . . ] for specific names and addresses required.
