Connect the power cord  to a grounded 120 VAC outlet. Check voltage label. ) Twist on the appropriate pickup tip  and vacuum cup. Install the filter muffler  on the vacuum transducer. The vacuum pen is now ready for use. 

Operation
Press the power switch on the unit.

Position the vacuum cup on the component and press the foot pedal  to activate the vacuum. Adjust the vacuum by turning the vacuum-control knob  on the front panel.
