Gre 45 BRUSH ROLL CLEAN TECHNOLOGY™ All ULTRAPOWER models are equipped with BRUSH ROLL CLEAN ™ Technology – a function that helps to keep the brush roll free from hair and fibres. It is recommended to use this function once a week. For best results use the BRUSH ROLL CLEAN ™ function when ULTRAPOWER is fully charged. Do not use the BRUSH ROLL CLEAN ™ function on carpets. Press the BRUSH ROLL CLEAN ™ pedal with your foot while the cleaner is switched on. Hold for 5 seconds until hairs and fibres are removed and then release the pedal. There will be a cutting noise during this process, this is normal. If hairs remain on the brush roll repeat the process. Please note that the BRUSH ROLL CLEAN ™ function might not be able to remove thicker threads, wires or fibres that are caught in the brush roll. See chapter “Removing the brush roll” for these situations. A) Open the dust container by pressing the dust container button (A ). B) b) Take out the filters by pressing the release buttons c) c) Empty the contents into a dustbin. Never wash the dust container or filters in a dishwasher. Pull the filter cleaning rod (B) to its end position and release it to remove dust from the inner filter. A) Take out both filters by pressing the release buttons b) Separate both filters.
