Unpacking and assembly (1)
• • Check that all parts are in the box. Carefully insert the upper stick into the lower main body (1a). Make sure that the cable does not get jammed. Secure the upper stick by tightening the locking screw supplied (1b). Fit the floor nozzle towards the vacuum cleaner. 2 •

Starting to vacuum clean (2)
• Release the cable by rotating the upper cable holder (2), and plug the cable. Open the front cover and change the dust bag. Make sure the new bag is in the correct positioning the bag holder to avoid leakage. Be sure to use only an original Electrolux dust bag designed for this vacuum cleaner, ref ES17. The vacuum cleaner has a safety device so that the front cover can not be closed without the dust bag in. Do not attempt to force the cover to shut. If the suction power is reduced the motor/micro filter may need to be changed, • Schmutzigen Filter wechseln. Normally after every 5:th replacement of the dust bag. To change this filter: Staubsauger niemals ohne Filter • Open up the front cover and lift up the benutzen, da dieser auch als filter holder. Never use the vacuum cleaner without the filter as it also serves as a motor protection. 8

Troubleshooting
The vacuum cleaner does not start: • Check that the cable is connected to the mains. Check that the plug and cable are not damaged.
