C. Control Panel or Power Supply. AC OUT Blue Wires (18") To AC Input of the Control or Power Supply SPADE LUGS For the Control or Power Supply Battery Wires Installation 1. Disconnect AC transformer and battery from the Control or Power supply. Turn off the Power Switch on the ELK-965. Connect blue wires from the ELK-965 to the AC input of the Control or Power Supply. Connect red and black battery wires from the control or power supply to the male spade lugs on the ELK-965. Connect AC transformer wires to the terminals marked AC IN on the ELK-965. Connect red and black battery wires from the ELK-965 to the 12 Volt D. C. [. . . ] LED Dim = AC Power On but one of the red or black wires from control is disconnected. Caution: The ELK-965 cannot determine the status or condition of a battery. This functionality would have to be provided by the control panel or power supply.
