Read all instructions before using this machine. DANGER ­ To reduce the risk of electric shock: 1. Your sewing machine should never be left unattended when plugged in. Place the edge of the fabric next to the guide of foot and sew with the fabric edge against the guide. y Guide CAUTION: y Model 2800 Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when using foot C; the needle may hit the foot causing the needle to bend or break. Model 2600: Sew while guiding the fabric so the needle drops off the fabric edge on the right. S. r Thread tension: 3 ­ 7 t Presser foot: C (Model 2800) A (Model 2600) Model 2800: This stitch is ideal for finishing edges of stretch fabrics. It seams and finishes the fabric edges simultaneously. Place the edge of the fabric next to the guide of foot and sew while guiding the fabric edge along the guide. S. S y Model 2800 CAUTION: Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when using the overedge foot C; the needle may hit the foot causing the needle to bend or break. Model 2600: Place the fabric to leave a 5/8" (1. 6 cm) allowance. Trim the extra allowance after sewing.
