These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. [. . . ] To obtain IP address automatically from the DHCP server select "Obtain IP Automatically", the DHCP server will provide DNS server IP automatically as well. Clone MAC Address: If your ISP requires you to enter a specific MAC address, please enter it in. For ETSI domain device, you can only select Channel 1~13. 37 Security This function enables user to set authentication type for secure wireless communications. Open System allows public access to the router via wireless communications. Shared Key requires the user to set a WEP key to exchange data with other wireless clients that have the same WEP key. This router also supports WPA, WPA2 and WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK. Figure 41 Security: Enable or Disable the wireless LAN security. WEP 38 Figure 42 WEP: Open System and Shared Key requires the user to set a WEP key to exchange data with other wireless clients that have the same WEP key. WEP Key Format: Select the key format from the drop-down list HEX or ASCII. WEP Key Length: Select the level of encryption from the drop-down list.
