Fine-tuning the Projector 47 Viewing Lamp Usage and Other Information note If you access the About menu when the projector display is set to video, you only see the lamp life, video source, and video signal settings. Use the About menu to view information about the display settings of your computer and the number of hours the lamp has been used. A clogged air filter can block ventilation needed to cool the projector and cause overheating. The only parts you should replace are the lamp and air filter. If any other part needs replacing, contact your dealer or a qualified servicer. Use a canister of compressed air to remove dust. To remove dirt or smears on the lens, use lens-cleaning paper. If necessary, moisten a soft cloth with lens cleaner and gently wipe the lens surface. caution Do not use glass cleaner to clean the lens. Cleaning the Projector Case Before you clean the case, first turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. To remove dirt or dust, wipe the case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
