When the B light is flashing,  the ink cartridge is not expended and you cannot use the instructions on the front page to replace cartridges. See “Paper Jam” on the right to clear the jam. No paper is loaded,  or multiple pages have been fed into the sheet feeder. Load paper in the sheet feeder correctly. From your computer you can check the ink status or replace cartridges before they are expended.
