Deluxe Alpine Climber TM Photo shows a Deluxe Alpine Climber installed on SIDE #2 of a Fireman's Gym with the following add-ons: · Gym Base and Brace Kit · Firechief 's Treehouse PLEASE NOTE: this Deluxe Alpine Climber can be installed only on the following play systems: Fireman's Gyms, Firechiefs, and Superchiefs manufactured after February 1, 1995. In addition, a Firechief's Treehouse must be installed. This product is intended for use by children ages 5 through 12 years under responsible adult supervision at all times. Congratulations and thank you for purchasing fine ChildLife® brand play equipment! ChildLife's products are for residential use only. They are not intended for use in places of public assembly such as schools, parks, condominiums, churches and temples, and child care centers. Please read this instruction manual completely before starting assembly. [. . . ] Tighten rope and Net as much as possible and tie a halfhitch at Loop C. Tie enough halfhitches to use up any excess length. Do not cut the excess as it may be used in future configurations of your play system. Repeat to fasten the other center strand. Close top S-Hooks with pliers to prevent removal. At the bottom of the net, run the tie-rope through Loops A and B. Center the mid-point of the rope between A and B. Run rope from Loop B down through Holes C and D and then up through Loop E. Tighten rope and net as much as possible and tie a half hitch at Loop E. Run rope from Loop E through Loop B again, and tie enough half hitches to use up any excess length. Do not cut the excess as it may be used in future configurations of your play system. Run rope from Loop A down through Holes F and G, then up to Loop H. Stretch and tie at Loop H, and finish by tying at Loop A as done before at Loop B. Close top S-Hooks with pliers to prevent removal. Now go to Step 14. ILLUSTRATION 8 Panel Mid-Rail Step 14. INSTALL THE PANEL MID RAIL 2-1/4" x 1/4" Carriage Bolts (Note offset counter-sunk holes) (SEE ILLUSTRATION 8) Locate the Panel Mid Rail, which is about 42" long and 5" wide. Orient it such that the off-center pre-drilled 8 holes are closest to the top and the pre-drilled countersunk holes face out. Fasten it to Uprights #2, #3, and #4 with three 2-1/4" x 1/4" Carriage Bolts and 1/4" Safety Nuts. Use the pre-drilled holes 47-1/2" up from the bottom of the Uprights. Install all bolts and nuts loosely at first until all are engaged. Then tighten all hardware securely. ILLUSTRATION 9 Now go to Step 15. Step 15. INSTALL THE BOTTOM PANEL (SEE ILLUSTRATIONS 9, 10, & 11) Locate the Bottom Panel by referring to Illustration 9. [. . . ] · Dress children appropriately for play.
