If you do not have the Assembly Instructions and Owners Manual of the play system you have purchased, which contains this important information, contact ChildLife or your point of purchase for a free replacement copy. Step 1. REMOVE SAFETY CLIPS Illustration 1 Completely remove the two Safety Clips that are installed at the top of the slide. FASTEN THE SLIDE TO YOUR PLAY SYSTEM (See Cover Illustration and Illustration 1) Hook the top of the Slide to the desired rung on your play system approximately 6' off the ground. See Illustration 1. 2 (View of under side of Triple Wave Slide fastened to rung) Illustration 2 On any play system with a Firechiefs Treehouse, the Slide may fasten at the Side Exit (as shown in the cover illustration) or at the End Exit. See your Firechiefs Treehouse Instruction Manual for further details. On any play system with a Crows Nest Treehouse, the Slide should fasten directly below the trap door opening into the Crows Nest Treehouse. Fasten one of the Adjustable Platforms, that came with your play system, to the rungs at 6' high, providing a stable platform at the top of the Slide. On a Denali or Everest play system, fasten the Slide to the Slide Rung you installed as instructed in the Assembly Instructions. With Slide hooked and resting on the rung, pull the bottom of the Slide out and away from the play system to ensure that the hook molded into the Slide is firmly seated against the rung. Now go to Step 3. Illustration 1 Securely fasten lock-washers, Safety Clips, and nuts to the bolts. (View of top side of Triple Wave Slide fastened to rung) Securely fasten the nuts so as to ensure that the smooth bolt heads are flush with the slide material. Illustration 3 Step 3. FASTEN SAFETY CLIPS (See Illustrations 2 and 3) Position the Safety Clips over the attachment rung so that they will clamp down on the rung when tightened. [. . . ] DISPOSE OF THE EQUIPMENT SAFELY When the time comes to disassemble and dispose of the play equipment, do so in such a way that no hazards will exist at the time the equipment is discarded.
