Use two 4-1/2" x 1/4" Carriage Bolts and 1/4" Safety Nuts. The crossarm must be bolted to the narrow edge of the 2x4. The bolts pass down through the End Panel Bottom Rail, through the floor, and finally through the 59" Crossarm. B) Bolt the floor of the Crow's Nest to the 48" Crossarm you installed in Step 11 above. Use two 3-3/4" x 1/4" Carriage Bolts and 1/4" Safety Nuts. The bolts pass down through the floor and then through the 48" Crossarm. C) Install two 2-1/2" Wood Screws into the pre-drilled holes in the Hand Hold. The screws travel down through this part into the 19" green crossarm between the Second Uprights of the Jungle Tower. Install completely, so the entire screw is below the shoulder of the predrilled hole. Doing so will ensure that no scraping hazards exist. The application of adult weight to the equipment as outlined above is a test of safety and strength of the parts.
