The game has all the challenges and excitement of the real game which will provide hours of fun for the whole family. First you need to flip a coin and decide who will be at bat first and who will be in the outfield. Once the positions are chosen it's time to start the game!Pitching In the back of the unit is a plunger that is spring loaded. In order to pitch the ball the pitcher pulls back on the plunger and releases. Remember to stay below the outfield net when pitching. The pitcher has the option of pitching a Fast Ball, Curve Ball (thrown outside) or ChangeUp. The pitching knob has a notch cut into it. By rotating the knob to different positions you will change how the ball will be pitched. You will want to take a few practice pitches to learn how the ball will react. Just like in baseball you need to warm up the pitcher!Note: Just like real pitching, not every fastball is as fast as the last, and not every curve ball "curves" outside. You'll get your share of "hanging curves" which is all part of the game. Hitting The batter will also want to warm up. Push the batting knob in several times so you can get adjusted to the speed at which the bat will travel. This will be important when the real pitches start arriving!
