Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Always use completely assembled slicer with food pusher. The food pusher is part of the basic equipment of this machine and it could be dangerous to use the appliance without it. â· Do not touch or pull the electric cable with wet or damp hands or feet. [. . . ] In case of technical problems, switch off the machine and do not try to repair it yourself. Use only a manufacturer authorised service centre and always demand the use of original spare parts. Failure to follow the above mentioned conditions, could affect the safety of the appliance. Place the food item to be sliced on the sliding tray and use the pusher to exert a gentle pressure against the mobile guide, keeping your thumb behind the protector at all times. For best results, we recommend that you exert regular, firm, but not excessive pressure on the circular knife. When you have finished, unplug the appliance. For safety reasons and to protect the blade while in storage, rotate the thickness regulator to align the mobile guide with the knife. Safety switch This slicer is provided with a safety switch to avoid the possibility of it being switched on accidentally. In order to switch on the appliance, move lever "A" rightwards using your finger (fig. 1): keep it in this position and at the same time press "B" with your thumb (fig. Before serving, allow cheese to reach room temperature, this enhances its natural flavour. Cold cuts Cold cuts keep longer and retain flavour if sliced according to needs. Remove any plastic or hard casing before slicing. Use a constant, gentle pressure for uniform slices. Breads, cakes and cookies Freshly baked bread should be cooled, before slicing. To slice extra-thin bread, in order to toast, use bread from the day before. Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the mains and use the cutting regulator to reduce the cutting thickness by aligning the knife with the mobile guide. Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid. [. . . ] At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
