Take special care when using the device close to children or people who are insensitive to heat because they could be burned without realising it. Do not leave the device within the reach of children since they are not aware of the risk involved in using an electrical appliance. Make sure the device is unplugged when it is not in use. ⷠUnplug the device: - If it is not working properly - Before cleaning it - After use · Unplug the device and leave it to cool off completely before cleaning it and putting it away. Do not leave the device on surfaces that are - hot. This device is for household use and it must not be used for a purpose other than the one described in this manual. Do not use the straightening irons for any action other than straightening hair. Place the device on a flat, heat resistant surface and plug it into the mains. The device starts working when it is plugged in and it takes approximately 10 minutes to heat up. The pilot light shines while the device is plugged in and the plates are heating up. ⷠThe temperature may be regulated between 60 and 180 °C. After approximately 2 minutes, the device will reach the right temperature to be able to start working. Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the mains and let it cool off completely. Clean your hair straightening irons and the plates after each use. Clean all the surfaces with a soft cloth. Your hair must be clean and completely dry before using the straightening irons. Fine hair reacts particularly quickly to the treatment. [. . . ] At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
