A.  [. . . ] Always set to off or unplug when not in use. · Keepforeignobjects­gloves, jewelry, clothing, hair, etc. ­away fromshredderopenings. Ifobjectenterstopopening, switchto Reverse(R)tobackoutobject. · Never use aerosol products,  petroleum based lubricants or other flammable products on or near shredder. · Donotuseifdamagedordefective. Donotdisassembleshredder. Do not place near or over heat source or water. · ThisshredderhasaDisconnectPowerSwitch(F)thatmustbeintheON(I) position to operate shredder. In case of emergency,  move switch to OFF (O) position. Thisactionwillstopshredderimmediately. · Avoidtouchingexposedcuttingbladesundershredderhead. · Donotputforeignobjectsinpaperentry. · Thegroundedsocket-outletshallbeinstalledneartheequipmentandshallbe easily accessible.

Continuous operation: 3-5 minute maximum NOTE: Shredder runs briefly after each pass to clear entry. Continuous operation beyond 3-5 minutes will trigger a 15-minute cool down period.

Safety Lock prevents accidental operation. Toset, waitfor shredding to stop,  push black button down and slide towards front of shredder. Tounlockpushblackbutton down and slide toward back of shredder.
