Youneedacertainamountoffreespacein thememorytodivideamessage. Formore information, see"SystemLimitations"on page122. Whenyoudivideamessagewithatitleand artistname, thenewerparthasthesame title, andartistname. Ifyoudivideamessagewithprioritymark(s), theprioritymark(s)willbeaddedtoboth partsofthedividedmessage. Ifyoudivideamessageattheposition whereyouhavesetthebookmark, the bookmarkwillbedeleted. Therecordingtimeofthelatterhalfofthe dividedmessagewillbethesametimeas thatofthedividedposition. Ifyoudivide anLPCMorMP3filerecordedusingtheIC recorder, therecordingtimeofthelatterfile willbethesametimeastheoriginalfile.
