[. . . ] You can also obtain other information about motor vehicle safety from calling the Hotline. However, no specific tests have been carried out to assure the reliability of the system when using fuel containing alcohol. Consequently, we suggest that our customers do not use fuel containing alcohol on Ferrari vehicles. Besides being on the cutting edge of new technologies, this car makes a mark in the evolution of the design which characterises the production of FERRARI 8-cylinder cars. [. . . ] Drive carefully at all times and reduce speed on wet road surfaces or in the presence of snow and ice on the road because tire grip will be substantially reduced. Never activate the "RACE" mode under conditions of low and medium grip. Considering that the vehicle lies low to the ground, we advise you to drive carefully on rugged or rough roadbeds. Heavy bumping of the underbody could activate the AIRBAGS. FERRARI has designed and produced a car using technology, materials and devices that are capable of reducing harmful effects on the environment dramatically. It is essential that the car be kept running efficiently by complying with the programmed maintenance plan. To offer your further support and to prevent damage to the environment, be responsible and adopt proper conduct at all times. Do not use the "RACE" mode when you are driving in urban areas or in residential areas at night. As a matter of fact, when the car is set to this mode its exhaust can be noisier and may be therefore bothersome. Driving under the same conditions in normal mode, it is however advisable not to let the engine reach high rpms (over 6, 000 rpms). Tool kit (A) The tool kit is kept in the luggage compartment and contains all the necessary equipment for emergency repair work, should any parts fail. Always keep the spare wheel in good working condition, checking regularly that the inflation pressure is 62 psi (4, 2 bar). The spare wheel must only be used in emergencies and for short periods of time. When the spare wheel is mounted, never exceed the maximum speed of 50 mph (80 Km/h) and drive with care, especially on curves and when overtaking, avoiding sudden acceleration or braking. Do not exceed the approved weight limit. Never mount more than one spare wheel at a time. Failure to comply with these rules could lead to a loss of control of the vehicle with consequent damage to the car and its occupants. Make sure the car is on a flat surface, engage the 1st gear and lock the rear wheels with the parking brake. If necessary, turn on the hazard lights and place the emergency warning triangle at the required distance. Take out the spare wheel and the tools from their storage space in the luggage compartment, detaching their fastening belts (A). One turn, using the wrench (B) with insert (F). Place the jack (C) on the flat and solid surface, next to one of the lifting points (D) marked under the car's floor panel. [. . . ] The bodywork is completed by the outer sheet pieces such as mudguards, side panels and roof which, depending on the car model, can be joined to the space frame by means of various connection techniques. The moving parts of the body that are fastened with screws such as front hood, the rear engine hood and the doors, complete the bodywork. If the aluminium parts are damaged, the repair work must always consist in replacement of the piece. Depending upon the damage, complete component units or individual parts can be replaced. [. . . ]
