Windy conditions can blow out the burner if it is set too low. If burner flame goes out when the unit is in use, immediately turn gas control to "OFF". Open lid and wait 5 minutes for gas to clear before relighting burner. Do not expose any part of your body directly above cooking area when lighting. Before cooking for the first time, operate the grill 15 minutes on high with top closed. This will dissipate odor from the paint finish. Your grill will cook for approximately 2 hours with the burner set on high, using one 16. To help keep dirt out of the propane bottle probe, storage in heavy plastic bag is recommended.
