The input signals from the [SUB IN] jacks are selected as the sources of channels 15 and 16. Using SUB IN You can connect a stereo audio source such as a CD player, MD player, etc. , to the [SUB IN (L, R)] jacks and output it directly from the control unit. Therefore, you can connect a BGM source and play it back during a break in the show, etc. Audio player (2) Use the [SUB IN] control to adjust the level of the signals from the [SUB IN] jacks. You can use the [SUB IN] control to adjust the level of the signals from the [SUB IN] jacks, but cannot use the [TRIM] control for them. The level of the signals after the [SUB IN] control are displayed on the level meters of the display. [SUB IN] control (3) The input signals from the [SUB IN] jacks are level-adjusted by the [SUB IN] control. The signals from the [SUB IN] jacks are assigned to channels 15 and 16 by default, however, you can change the assignment using the "Input" menu of the MENU mode (see "Other functions" on page 79 for details). The following shows the setting example for playing back the signals from the [SUB IN] jacks by the main speakers of a live stage. To output the signals from the [SUB IN] jacks in stereo, set the [PAN] control on channel 15 to "L" and set the [PAN] control on channel 16 to "R". Set the [ST] assign switches on channels 15 and 16 to "ON" ( ). The signal from the [SUB IN] jacks is routed to the stereo L/R buss. (4) (5) Use the channel faders on channel 15 and 16 to control the output level of the channel signals sent to the stereo L/R buss. Use the [STEREO] faders on channels 15 and 16 to control the level of the stereo buss signal output from the [STEREO OUT (L, R)] connectors, which affects the main speaker volume. (6) 2 1 <Memo>: The [SUB IN] jacks can be used to increase the total number of inputs by connecting to a sub mixer. 3 4 5 6 41 A+48V P48V (1-8) ST GROUP 1 2 3 3 EFF 1 2 AUX SOLO - ~ +10dB AUX SEND1 DA SOLO L R 4 ON/OFF P48V (9-16) ON/OFF AUX SEND1 AUX SEND2 (-2dBu) AUX SEND2 AUX SEND3 EFF SEND DA TIP: SEND RING: RETURN P48 (1-8) 1 - ~ +10dB CH1 FADER MUTE 3 4 GROUP1-2 ON/OFF CH1 PAN 1 2 3 4 ST BUS ON/OFF 2 LIMITER INSERT SOLO SOLO INPUT 1~8 AUX SEND3 EFF SEND EFFECT ON/OFF SOLO MIC VOL IC (LIMITER) GAIN1: +28dB GAIN2: +5dB + Low Cut Filter 80Hz, -12dB/oct INPUT/TRACK/SUB IN + CH1 EFF 3 4 GROUP3-4 ON/OFF BAL BA INPUT EQ 1 2 A/D 1 INTERNAL EFFECT PEAK 2 MIC1: -60 ~ -35dBu TRIM MIC2: -37 ~ -12dBu LINE1: -40 ~ -15dBu (37. 8 ~ -12. 8dBV) LINE2: -17 ~ +8dBu (-14. 8 ~ +10. 2dBV) PRE/POST AUX 1 TO REC1 AUX 2 H: 12kHz M: 100-8kHz L: 80Hz +/-18dB TRK1 ATT: -20dB Model LR16 [Mixer functions] LINE SUB IN AUX 3 SOLO - ~ +10dB EFF RTN L-R EFF RTN 1-2 MONITOR LEVEL P48 (9-16) 1 - ~ +10dB 3 4 ST BUS ON/OFF CH16 PAN 3 4 GROUP1-2 ON/OFF 1 2 2 EFF RTN 3-4 INPUT 9~16 EFF RTN AUX1 EFF RTN AUX2 1 CH16 FADER MUTE MIC VOL IC (LIMITER) + Low Cut Filter 80Hz, -12dB/oct INPUT/TRACK/SUB IN + SOLO BAL BA INPUT EQ 1 CH16 EFF 2 3 4 GROUP3-4 ON/OFF AUX 1 2 A/D EFF RTN AUX3 LR PEAK 1 2 TRIM MIC1: -60 ~ -35dBu MIC2: -37 ~ -12dBu LINE1: -40 ~ -15dBu (37. 8 ~ -12. 8dBV) LINE2: -17 ~ +8dBu (-14. 8 ~ +10. 2dBV) PRE/POST H: 12kHz M: 100-8kHz L: 80Hz +/-18dB PHONES VOL MONITOR VOL SOLO BA BA - ~ +10dB PHONES DA BA BA L LINE LR/12/34/EFF AUX 3 ATT: -20dB AUX 2 TRK16 SUB IN TO REC16 MONITOR SW Block diagram 42 SOLO - ~ +10dB GROUP1 FDR TO ST GROUP2 FDR TO ST GROUP3 FDR TO ST GROUP4 FDR MONITOR OUT (-12dBV) R SUB IN BA BA 1 DA BA BA (-10dBV) BA SUB IN 2 A/D SUB IN SUB IN BA - ~ +20dB DA BA BA 3 GROUP OUT (+4dBu) BA BA TO ST LIMITER 4 GND - ~ +10dB L S/R 1 TO REC 1 FDR RECORDER TO REC 1 TRACK/M.
