[. . . ] Getting Ready Basic Photography Advanced Features Photography Advanced Features Playback Setting This manual will show you how to use your FUJIFILM DIGITAL CAMERA FinePix4900 ZOOM correctly. Set this setting to "ON" when you are using an external flash. G Synchronization speed : Close the built-in flash. Mount the external flash on the camera's hot shoe. Select "5 · 7 · 9" (P. 42) or " 4" (P. 44). However, the use of " 9" or " 4" mode is recommended. External Flash Settings For external flash, refer to the user's manual for the flash and specify the settings as described below. G Up to 1/1000 sec. !G Set the white balance (P. 64) to AUTO or Custom White Balance (P. 72). N Compatible Flash Units N Flash units that can be used with this camera must meet the following 3 conditions : G G !G Flash photography cannot be used when continuous shooting (P. 59) or auto bracketing (P. 68) is selected. 70 The aperture can be set.
