Something you won't see in real life, but that you will enjoy tremendously in Trophy Bass 2007, is the fact that your lakes have some jumps placed in them!You don't always need to use them, but they can save you some time and provide for some exciting boat racing action. Many of them are quite easy to use, but some are a bit tougher to find the right lane to get enough speed to make it across. Once you know your boats and your lakes, you will find them very helpful. Some boats may not make it across every jump, so it is important that you win tournaments and unlock the faster boats. While you are driving, you will see a Map in the lower left corner of your display. This shows your position on the lake, and will help you find your hotspots easier, especially on some of the lakes with many channels. Boat Racing Every lake has a course of waypoints, represented by spinning Bass Pro Shops logo icons. There are 24 on each lake, and when you start a race you will need to find and hit each and every one in order to complete the race and get your time. Learning to watch for the waypoints as you cruise the course is the key to lowering your time. Plan for the best path in order to get the most waypoints without stopping the boat, slowing it down, or taking needless extra turns.
