[. . . ] Also, manually plotting a course for a units places those units on a plotted mission, therefore they must be unassigned, or removed from that mission. As mentioned above, deleting the mission will free all assigned units. Window Clicking on Window in the menu bar will produce a menu with the following ten items: Game Status Clicking on Game Status in this menu either opens the Game Status window or, if it was already open, brings it to the front. This window displays the current game time, date, and the time compression ratio. Unit Status Clicking on Unit Status in this menu either opens the Unit Status window or, if it was already open, brings it to the front, making it the active window in the process. The Unit Status window provides information about a selected unit's status including speed, course, altitude or depth, and emission state. A Report can be accessed from this window that provides details about a unit's weapons and sensors. Clicking on the Database button brings up the Platform Display dialog box. Platform Display Clicking on Platform Display in the Window pull-down menu opens the Platform Display dialog box. The Platform Display displays text and picture information about the individual platforms contained in the Harpoon II database. The selected platform is listed in the text block on the left and the text information about the platform is displayed in the other text block to the right. Press either the Mount or Sensor button to view the text information about the weapons and sensors. A photograph and drawing of the selected platform can be viewed by pressing the Picture button. To view other platforms, press the button representing the platform type you wish to view. The platforms are divided into five categories: Ships, Weapons, Submarines, Aircraft and Facilities. Press the Show All/Show Selected button to toggle between the unit you have selected and all the units of that platform type in the database. Order of Battle 122 Clicking on this selection will open a box containing a complete Reference Section listing of all of the groups, units, and bases currently under your command. Legends There are four sets of legends that can be selected from the Legends sub-menu. Symbol Legend Clicking on this menu selection will bring up a legend showing what the various unit, group, and base symbols represent. The Symbol Legend also displays the various colors used for friendly, hostile and neutral units or groups. Map Legend Clicking on this menu selection will bring up a legend showing the various colors used to represent land elevation, water depth, coastlines, and several other map features. Tactical Legend Clicking on this menu selection will bring up a legend showing the various colors used to represent weapon and sensor range circles.
