This panel showcases innovations created during over 2 years of development. [. . . ] The AFDS will level off and enter ALT HOLD automatically. Note: VNAV operation causes the ALT HOLD mode to function differently. See the FMC/NAV section for more information. © Wilco Publishing Page 55 of 116 1- Autopilot Command Modes (CMD): - When pressed, it individually engages the respective autopilot. - Normally only one autopilot may be engaged. - When engaged , the autopilot follows the currently selected AFDS modes automatically. - If no AFDS modes have been selected or the flight director is in TO mode when the autopilot is engaged, the AFDS is automatically placed in vertical speed and heading hold modes. MULTIPLE AUTOPILOT OPERATION (AUTOLAND) When the AFDS is in the approach mode (APP), the selection of multiple autopilots is possible to allow for an automatic landing. After selection of APP is made, pressing the CMD buttons for any remaining autopilots will "arm" them to engage at 1500 feet radio altitude. During multiple autopilot operation an automatic landing will be made. See "Autoland Status" explanation below for more on the autoland modes. 2- Autopilot Disengage Bar: - When pressed, it disengages all active autopilots. - A red bar is visible when the Disengage Bar is pressed. The disengage bar remains in the disengage position until it is pressed again. While the red bar is visible autopilot engagement is inhibited. - Disengagement of any autopilot results in a Master Warning that can be cancelled by pressing the Disengage bar a second time. © Wilco Publishing Page 56 of 116 1- LAND 2: - It indicates that the AFDS is currently engaged in the LAND 2 mode. - It displays at 1500 feet radio altitude when the APP mode is selected and two autopilots are engaged. - FLARE and ROLL OUT will also be announced on the EADI. - The aircraft executes an automatic landing and rollout in this mode. - It requires a minimum of two autopilots. 2- LAND 3: - It indicates that the AFDS is currently engaged in the LAND 3 mode. - It displays at 1500 feet radio altitude when the APP mode is selected and three autopilots are engaged. - FLARE and ROLL OUT are also annunciated on the EADI. - The aircraft executes an automatic landing and rollout in this mode. [. . . ] Once discharged, the fire handles can be reset by pressing on the blank mouse click area. The first click will rotate the handle to neutral and the second click will push in the fire handle. The fire bottles can be refilled on the ground by accessing the "B767-300 Panel" menu as shown below. © Wilco Publishing Page 114 of 116 FIRE TEST Pressing the fire test button on the pedestal will illuminate all fire indications and sound the fire bell. Also, with the lower EICAS STATUS page displayed, you can see STATUS messages related to the system test. © Wilco Publishing Page 115 of 116 GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING SYSTEM Control of the GPWS system involves two mouse click areas.
