This will start to blink and you will hear a repetitive sound signal to notify you that you have between 1 ½ and 2 ½ minutes left before you run out of fuel. To extend your range, you can attach extra fuel tanks to the pylons instead of weapons. Each extra fuel tank will give you approximately two minutes extra airtime. Damage Below the fuel meter, is a readout of how much damage the helicopter has taken. When your helicopter reaches 100% damage, you will lose control and the helicopter will go down in smoke. 6 Chopper Alley Passengers Below the Damage meter, is a readout of how many passengers you currently have and the maximum number of passengers your helicopter can hold. To pick up a passenger, hover slowly right above the passengers head and he will enter the helicopter. To release all the passengers, land at your base, right in the middle of the landing spot. As soon as you land, all the passengers will jump out and you can go pick up more. Weapons In the upper left corner of the screen, you will see listed all the weapon systems you have attached to your helicopter and the ammunition left for each. If the helicopter comes with a standard machine gun, this will also appear in this list. To activate a weapon system, just tap on it with your stylus. You will not be able to activate empty weapon systems. Map A 2D overhead map is available at all times. Press the Map button to activate/deactivate the map. 3. Helicopters Chopper Alley comes with a great selection of helicopters. Each helicopter has a set of properties that makes it more or less appropriate for a specific mission or strategy. Each property is listed with two values, one for an empty helicopter (green) and one for a fully loaded helicopter (red). In practice you will probably start off almost fully loaded and work your way towards almost empty as you fire the weapons and the fuel tank gets empty. Your actual load can be monitored on the "Weapon Select" screen. In some of the helicopters, performance varies greatly between "empty" and "fully loaded", while others will perform almost identically. There is also a big difference in what the term "fully loaded" actually means in reference to each helicopter.
