 [. . . ] The GARDENA mulch unit is intended for use in mulching lawns and areas of grass in conjunction with the Flexible Steerable Mower 38 E (art.  [. . . ] K Open protective flap M and push the mulch unit z into the opening of the mower as far as the stop A (lock z snaps in place). Remove mulch unit (2): A Open protective flap M,  press the lock z and draw K the mulch insert z out of the opening of the mower. You will achieve the best mulching results if the lawn is cut regularly,  1 ­ 2 times a week,  depending on how fast the lawn is growing. When mulching,  the lawn should not be cut by more than 1/3 of its height. The height of the cut should be set to at least 4 cm (if the lawn is very dense,  it may be necessary to set the cutting height at a higher level). To ensure that the lawn mulch can rot down in the best way,  mulch when the lawn is as dry as possible.
