In self-timer mode, pressing [ ] or[ ] will change into Capture mode. 31 Using the Flash The flash is designed to function automatically when lighting conditions warrant the use of flash. You can take an image using a suitable flash mode to your circumstances. If you change the flash mode, the camera will retain that setting even if the camera is turned off. Turn the camera on by sliding the POWER switch. Set the mode dial base on the desired scenery (Manual, Auto, Macro, Portrait, Landscape, Night Scene or Sports).
