[. . . ] 75 SPECIFYING THE WHITE BALANCE MODE This camera has 6 white balance modes. AUTO Auto white balance Automatically adjusts white balance according to light source incident on the CCD. Daylight mode Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject illuminated by sunlight. Light bulb mode Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject illuminated by an incandescent light or tungsten light. Fluorescent mode Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject illuminated by a fluorescent light. Cloudy mode Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject on a cloudy day. WB Preset mode Select this mode by using the WB preset white balance setting. * WB Preset means measuring the white point from a white sheet of paper or card (or nearby wall), the camera will then record that temperature and use it to correct all images until you reset it. 1 Rotate the function dial to and press the MENU button. · The recording mode menu is displayed on the LCD monitor. 76 2 Press the or key so that [White Balance] is highlighted and press the key. 3 Press the or key so that the desired white balance mode is highlighted and press key. · The white balance mode changes in the following order.
