If your computer uses Windows XP, Windows Me, or Windows 2000, you do not have to install the driver software to use the player with your computer. If your computer uses Windows 98 SE, install the USB device driver for Windows 98 SE. · To install the Windows 98 SE USB device driver 1. Plug the player into a USB port on your computer. - OR Connect the USB extension cable to the computer's USB port and connect the player to the extension cable. The Add New Hardware Wizard screen opens.
