The wireless WS70 sensor is compatible with the Geonaute WS700 weather station. Read these instructions carefully before using this device and retain them for the entire life of the product. LIMITED WARRANTY Geonaute guarantees the initial purchaser of this product that it is free from defects of materials and workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase. Keep the receipt, which is your proof of purchase. [. . . ] · You have 2 new LR3-AAA batteries for the sensor ; they are not installed in the device. · 1 Phillips-head screwdriver (precision model) for the sensor screws · The sensor, with battery cover open, with the table stand · A fine point for pressing the reset button on the sensor. 18 All the elements are on the same table away from any source of interference (television, portable phones, etc. ) 1. Place the batteries into the sensor according to the indicated orientation. Check that information is displayed on the sensor screen. Choose a free communication channel for the sensor by toggling the CHANNEL switch on the rear of the sensor, inside the battery cover. The selected channel is displayed on the sensor screen. After the display reappears, temperature information is sent in approximately 30-second intervals. Carefully reinsert the seal for the sensor, taking care not to damage it. Next, close the sensor battery cover with the 4 Phillips-head screws. Position the sensor in an upright position on the table, using the table stand provided. Press the RESET button on the station to re-initialize the measurements, or follow the instructions in the paragraph " How to Add Another Sensor ". Place the station and the sensors in their final locations. Remember to position the sensors vertically and avoid exceeding the distances specified in the pamphlet with respect to the presence or absence of obstacles between 19 the sensor and the station. Scroll through the various outdoor temperature channels by pressing the " CHANNEL " button and select the one that is programmed for the sensor. Verify that the temperature measured by the sensor is properly displayed on the screen. If it is not, start over by bringing the unrecognized sensor closer to the station. INSTALLATION A. Installing the batteries in the remote sensor and selecting the channel The remote sensor runs on 2 AAA (LR3) 1. 5 V batteries. To install them and select the channel : 1.
