Our MEDIAEDGE® is a multi-channel, multi-location delivery system of either high- or standard-definition (HD or SD) video using standard TCP/IP networks and HD/SD display devices. Comprised of server, encoder, client software, and settop box (STB) components, this flexible and modular system is ideal for point-ofsale, corporate, and other video-retrieval and digital-signage applications.

MEDIAEDGE Live Server Box
Normally, the server is in a centrally-located position, distributing pre-recorded video content. However, there are occasions where an on-site capture source for live video input is required which is not physically located in the same place as the main video server. The MEDIAEDGE-LSB is designed to provide this flexibility as part of a total video distribution solution. The MEDIAEDGE-LSB provides for real-time transport of high definition video across a LAN. The MEDIAEDGE-LSB accepts live HDV video via FireWire (IEEE 1394). It delivers live video to the MEDIAEDGE server where it can be distributed live, captured for later use in an on-demand play list, or both simultaneously.
The MEDIAEDGE-LSB is a stand-alone network appliance allowing it to be located at the video source. An Ethernet connection provides access to the LAN and, thereby, the MEDIAEDGE server.
