[. . . ] If the following measures do not bring about satisfactory results, please consult an authorised dealer. GENERAL PROBLEMS Problem Distorted or interfering signal in one or more of the loudspeakers during Tuner mode. Possible cause/remedy There is a radio-operated device being used in the immediate vicinity of the HiFi (e. g. Select a different transmission/reception channel. Position the antennas of the LSP3 and the HiFi system vertically. 15 minutes before you switch it on again. The HiFi system was switched onto standby with another installed remote control. Problems due to electrostatic discharge. Switch off the loudspeakers and the HiFi using the mains switch, then switch them on again. Check the mains plug and the mains switch of the loudspeakers (the operating indicator should be lit up green). Make sure the MUTING function is not activated. Check the location of the loudspeakers. The HiFi switches off. The HiFi system does not work. No sound. The left and right channels are inverted. The remote control does not work. 61 ENGLISH Change the batteries. The remote control has been deinstalled. INFORMATION __________________________________________________________________________ RADIO RECEPTION Problem No sound. Possible cause/remedy The MUTING function is activated due to poor stereo reception. Switch off FM STEREO to activate MONO reception, or manually adjust the frequency. Check antenna connection. Loud noise interference. DAB MODE Problem No DAB signal Possible cause/remedy Reposition the DAB antenna. CD MODE Problem The CD compartment will not close. Playback does not work. Possible cause/remedy The CD is not properly inserted. The CD is dirty, scratched or upside-down. A sudden temperature change has caused condensation on the laser lens system. This will dry off by itself after a short time. No disc is in the compartment, or the disc is dirty, scratched or warped. You are using a CD which does not adhere to the compact disc standard, or a CD-R or CD-RW which has not been burned correctly. Switch the function off. The message "NO DISC" is displayed. Playback does not start with the first track. MULTI-ROOM OPERATION Problem You can not select the input source you desire. Possible cause/remedy There are already two different input sources active. 62 INFORMATION __________________________________________________________________________ Technical data This device is noise-suppressed according to the applicable EC directives. This product fulfils the European directives 89/336/EEC, 73/23/ EEC and 93/68/EEC. [. . . ] INSTALLATION 10 In the »SETUP« menu, press » INSTALLATION«. ­ Display: the »INSTALLATION« menu. INSTALL WT2 13 Press the »INSTALL« button on WT2 until the »INSTALL« indicator on the WT2 flashes orange. ­ This starts the installation of the WT2. When the orange »INSTALL« indicator on the WT2 switches off, the WT2 is installed on the HiFi. ­ The remote control display reads: »INSTALLATION OF WT2 COMPLETED«.
