H Trimming Use the extended trimmer for longer hair on your face and neck, but also on the beard, moustache or sideburns. 1 Press the button the appliance. H to switch on C to switch on 2 Push up the trimmer latches in. until it C 3 Shave with slow, gentle movements against the direction of beard growth. Hold the appliance at a 90° angle to your skin. Always cut against the natural direction of beard growth. In the case of thick or copious beard growth which cannot be removed by just one shave, do one quick shave and then a more thorough second one. 7 7 18 ENGLISH CLEANING AND CARE ---------------------------------------------------------------------------General information The device must be cleaned regularly so that you can continue to enjoy its top performance and optimum results. Clean the housing with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use any cleaning agents. To do so, press the side lock buttons D. 2 Remove the E blade blocks for cleaning by pulling them upwards off the oscillator F . 3 Carefully brush hair clippings out of the blade blocks, the foils and the housing. [. . . ] Replacing the blade blocks 1 Remove the E blade blocks by pulling them upwards off the oscillator F . 2 Place the new blade blocks on the oscillator. Caution 7 Ensure that the blade blocks are firmly in position on the holder. Note 7 For an optimum shaving experience, always replace foil frames and blade blocks at the same time.
