K Dust container release button. 18 ENGLISH INDIVIDUAL PARTS Multi-step extendable telescopic vacuum tube ____________________________________________ Other accessories Small brush Use the small brush 1 to clean furniture or picture frames. It can be tilted up to an angle of 90°. 1 For better handling push the small brush directly onto the handle for guiding. 2 Push the small brush onto telescopic vacuum tube D for greater reach. 1 Extend telescopic vacuum tube D ; do this by pushing forward the latch and pulling the tube to the required length . 2 To lock, release the latch. 1 Brushes The scope of delivery contains a high-quality multi-floor brush. This is suitable for all types of carpets as well as wooden floors and is adjustable by foot. 1 Insert the brush into the telescopic suction tube D. 2 Alter the switch on the combi-floor brush depending on the carpet thickness (see the symbols on the changeover switch). ENGLISH 19 INDIVIDUAL PARTS Narrow crevice tool Use the narrow crevice tool 2 to clean places difficult to reach, e. g. 1 Push the narrow crevice tool directly onto the guide handle for improved control. 2 Push the narrow crevice tool onto telescopic vacuum tube D for greater reach. ____________________________________________ 2 Push the suction tool onto telescopic vacuum tube D for greater reach. 3 2 Storing the accessories Accessories 1 to 3 can be stored under a flap on the top of the appliance. Suction tool for upholstered furniture Use the suction tool 3 for cleaning upholstered furniture. 1 Push the suction tool directly onto the guide handle for improved control. 20 ENGLISH USE _________________________________________________________________________ Check whether the mains voltage given on the rating plate (on the underside of the appliance) matches the local mains voltage. Switching on and off 1 Pull out the required length of power cord. Important 7 A yellow mark appears at the end of the cable. The maximum cable length is indicated by a red mark. Never try to pull out the power cord beyond the red mark. 2 Plug the power cord plug into the wall socket. 3 Switch on the appliance by pressing pushbutton H . 4 Set the required suction power using the rotary controller G .
