[. . . ] Introduction Lanyard The H2O Audio waterproof housing allows you to listen to digital audio during active watersports. This housing accomadates the Apple iPod shuffle 2nd Gen digital media player only. HOUSING: The housing features a Silicone Sleeve that intimately mates with the hard plastic (polycarbonate) Tray. The housing allows for functional control of the iPod shuffle 2nd Gen control pad. [. . . ] Using your other hand, squeeze the Finger Grips of the Silicone Sleeve at the Seal Area and pull the Silicone Sleeve away from the Tray. Removing the iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen 1. Turn the Tray over to expose the back with the Clip facing up. Using your Tray thumb to block the opening at the bottom of the Tray will prevent the shuffle shuffle from falling out once disconected. Gently pushing the shuffle down, unplugging it from the Tray and Clip slide out. 2. Ensure the shuffle's Control Pad and the Control Pad of the Silicone Sleeve are both aligned and facing up. 3. Slide the Silicone Sleeve all the way to the top of the Tray, until it mates tightly. Do NOT slide Silicone Sleeve over the Clip located on the back of the housing. 4. Inspect the Seal Area after closing to ensure that you have a tight seal between the Tray and the Silicone Sleeve. Ensure there are no gaps between the Silicon Sleeve and Tray, they must be completely flush. If you have any concerns, please repeat the Leak Test from Section 4. S8 - 70 20070713 NOTE: Grabing the Silicone Sleeve at the highest point possible on the Finger Grips will help open the housing. 8. Connecting the Headphones The SealTightTM Connector (which is only featured on the H2O Audio Waterproof Housing) is what keeps your audio connection safe and dry underwater. It is designed specifically to create a seal around the H2O Audio Series Waterproof Headphones (sold separately). Using any other headphones will reduce the waterproof rating to water-resistant as the headphone connection will not be completely waterproof. 9. Control Pad Volume up Previous / Rewind Button Play / Pause Button Next / Fast Forward Button Volume down 12. General Storage Procedures For long-term storage, store in a plastic bag out of direct sunlight.
