CHATNOW is the 3-in-1 personal communicator designed just for you!Now you can chat with your friends up to 2 miles away, send them text messages, and take their photos! [. . . ] BUDDY LIST: Select "2 BUDDY" to assign a photo to one of your buddy's numbers. Select the appropriate buddy from the buddy list and press ENTER. It will then ask you to animate the photo. (See Animating a Photo section below. ) Now when your buddy calls you, his or her photo will pop up!DELETE: Select "DELETE" to erase the photo. Once you do this it's gone forever!ANIMATION SETUP: After you have assigned a photo to a buddy you have the option to animate that photo. This will make your buddy look like he or she is talking to you! Select "YES" to animate your friend's photo or "NO" to leave the photo as is. A cursor will appear on the photo [ + ], as shown. Use the 5634 keys to move the cursor to the area of your buddy's face that the prompt at the bottom of the screen is telling you. You will need to do this four times for each eye and three times for the mouth. Now every time your buddy calls you, that photo will pop up and animate while your buddy is talking! 11 Adding Designs to a Photo - Design mode lets you add text and props to your photos! From the Photo Menu select "ALBUM" and press ENTER. Select "DESIGN" and press ENTER for Design Mode. NOTE: Other options are available such as assigning the photo to a buddy (2 BUDDY) or to delete the photo from your album (DELETE). ADDING TEXT TO A PHOTO - Select "TEXT" and press ENTER. Use the keypad to write a caption (up to 8 characters) and press ENTER when finished. Then use the 5634 keys to move your caption to its desired location. Press ENTER to save your photo with the caption and exit. Press CANCEL at any time to return to the Design Menu. NOTE: 1. When you add props or text to a photo it is saved as a new photo. Don't worry ­ the original photo is still there. To flip the ears or eyes, press the DEL key. ADDING PROPS TO A PHOTO - Select "PROPS" and press ENTER. [. . . ] Press ENTER when you are finished setting the date and you will return to the Customize Menu. CHECKING THE BATTERY LEVEL BATTERY: Select "BATTERY" to view your current battery level. Press CANCEL to return to the Customize Menu. VOLUME Make sure to set the Volume level on your CHATNOW communicator to a reasonable, audible level. 16 Select "VOLUME" on the Main Menu.
