[. . . ] "Name That Tune" includes three exciting games "Melody Roulette", "Guess a Tune", and"Melody Countdown". If you choose "Melody Countdown" you will only play this game. Please read the following brief descriptions of the games to decide which gametochoose. HOW TO PLAY GAME PLAY OVERVIEW ROUND 1: OBJECT: MELODY ROULETTE Players compete to name the tune the quickest. The dollar amounts to win are randomized. [. . . ] Note that the timer DOES NOT STOP during REPEAT. Players may press REPEAT after any number of notes are played. · After the song answer is shown, players may also press REPEAT to hear the song played again. · If neither player knows the song, they may press the ENTER button to "skip" that song. The game will then display the name of the song and play it through. Players may only skip a song while it is playing. Once it is finished playing players will have to wait 15 second for the answer. Players may only skip one song in the round. ROUND 2: OBJECT: GUESS A TUNE Be the first player to Name That Tune in the fewest notes. HOW TO PLAY GAME PLAY: · Players are prompted to hit the SONG button · The game starts out by playing three notes of a song. The unit will wait five (5) seconds to allow a player to "buzz in". · If neither player can guess the song then the unit will play the song again, but will add three (3) additional notes. The unit will continue to add three notes and wait 5 seconds until a player guesses it correctly. · If one player wants to concede, then he should press ENTER without lowering the bid further and that will pass the bid to the other player. The game will then "announce" "Player (1 or 2) Name That Tune. The Player with the lowest bid then has 40 seconds to type in the name of the song and press ENTER. If the name is not correct or the 40 seconds expire, then the game will deduct the score from the player's total. · If one player enters the wrong name of the song, the song will be repeated and the other player hasanopportunityto name the song. There are a total of 4 songs in this round. Scoring: In this game, the player gets dollar amounts based on how many notes are used. The fewer notes, the higher the dollar amounts. The following table indicates the score for eachnumberofnotes: 15 notes: $100 14 notes: $200 13 notes: $300 12 notes: $400 11 notes: $500 10 notes: $600 9 notes: $700 8 notes: $800 7 notes: $900 6 notes: $1000 5 notes: $1100 4 notes: $1200 3 notes: $1300 2 notes: $1400 1 note: $1500 0 notes: $1600 GAME TIPS: · The name of the songMUST be typed correctly. Therefore refer to Appendix 1 which lists the complete titles and correct spellings for all songs. · Players can not press REPEAT to hear the wagered notes over and over again.
