TO INSTALL BATTERIES: Using Phillips/cross head screwdriver, loosen screw in battery compartment cover (screw stays attached to cover). Replace with 3 fresh "AA"/LR6 (1. 5V) alkaline batteries. Replace cover and tighten screw.
