How Caller ID operates When you receive a call, the name and phone number of the caller will appear in the display, beginning just before the second ring. In other words, the receiving fax machine, not the transmitting fax machine, initiates the transmission. To use the polling function, you must first set Rapid Key 16/POLL for use as a polling key. When Rapid Key 16/POLL is set as a polling key, it cannot be used for Rapid Key dialing. Display: 1 2 3 4 Press FUNCTION once and 3 times. OPTION SETTING Press once and 6 times.
