[. . . ] Please make sure to turn off the entire system before changing the jumper positions. function of jumper J1: 4- or 2 ohms mode Jumper J1 adjusts the crossover to the so called 4- or 2 ohms mode. The basic adjustment (ex works) is the 4 ohms mode which means that only one pair of woofers is used in the vehicle. When using two additional RS806 Competition speakers as a double bass system on each side, e. In custom made door panels, the jumpers J1 must be removed and fixed into the 2 ohms position (see fig. Function of jumper J2: Mid level adjustment Jumper J2 is used for the individual adjustment of the mid level (adjustment of level in relation to the level of the bass and the tweeter). In the 0 dB-position (ex works) the mid- range plays at the same level as tweeter and woofer. This should be basis of your fine tuning. Depending on the placement of the chassis and your individual listening habits the level of the midrange can be raised or lowered by changing the position of jumper J2. In lower positions such as door- or kick panels the level should rather stay at 0 dB or even be raised to +3 dB. Tweeter level adjustment Jumper J3 is used for the individual adjustment of the tweeter level (adjustment of level in relation to the bass and the midrange). Please make sure that changes in the position of the jumpers J1, J2 and J3 must always be made simultaneously for the right and the left channel on both crossovers. Special note: Try to connect the midrange out of phase to the crossovers as the resulting 180° phase shift may well improve the overall staging of your system. Therefore we grant a warranty period of 2 years. The products are carefully checked and tested during the entire production process. In the case of service note the following: 1) The 2 years warranty period commences with the purchase of the product and is applicable only to the original buyer. 2) During the warranty period we will rectify any defects due to faulty material or workmanship by replacing or repairing the defective part at our decission.
