Drilling using the depth gauge (accessory) We recommend the use of the depth gauge for drilling holes to the exact depth required. The depth gauge rod is offset in order to reduce deviations caused by tilting the tool and to make it easier to adjust the drilling depth . Assembly : Position the depth gauge on the top side of the power tool so that the two positioning lugs engage in the depressions for the flange screws. Press the depth gauge on to the tool until the two rear retaining lugs engage in the tool casing.
