SLEEP PRESET EQ RANDOM REPEAT /M-UP STAND BY RANDOM VOLUME FM + ST TIMER/ MONO SLEEP REPEAT /M-UP MUTE SNOOZE MEMO/ C. ADJ MODE/ REMAIN MUTE SNOOZE PHONES VOLUME VOLUME Skipping through tracks Press the SKIP/SEARCH/ TUNING buttons in play mode to skip forwards or backwards through the tracks on your CD. Press and hold the SKIP/ SEARCH/TUNING buttons to search quickly forwards or backwards through the tracks on your CD. Programming tracks Press the MEMO/C. ADJ button on the unit in CD stop mode. Press the SKIP/SEARCH/ TUNING buttons on your remote control to select a track that you wish to program. Press the MEMO/C. ADJ button to confirm your choice. Repeat selecting and confirming your tracks (up to a total of 20 tracks) Press the PLAY button to play your selection. MODE/REMAIN feature Press the MODE/REMAIN button once on the unit when a CD is playing to see how long is left on the CD. Press the MODE/REMAIN button a second time to display the current time. Press the MODE/REMAIN button a third time to display the timer . Press the MODE/REMAIN button a fourth time to go back to the normal display. AUX TUNER CD MULTI FUNCTION DISPLAY IR STOP/ BAND SKIP/ TUN. PLAY/ PAUSE SKIP/ TUN. Using the different CD features STAND BY MEMO/ C. ADJ VOLUME FM + ST TIMER/ MONO SLEEP MODE/ REMAIN PHONES POWER/STANDBY POWER/STANDBY PLAY/PAUSE STOP/BAND PLAY/PAUSE STOP/BAND i Information You can connect external sources such as a DVD player to your hi-fi. Use the AUX sockets on the back of the hi-fi to make the necessary connections. Press the AUX button on the unit to access the external source. Press the REPEAT/M-UP button a second time on the remote control to repeat the whole CD. button a third time on the remote control to turn the repeat feature off. Using the RANDOM feature Press the RANDOM button on the remote control when your CD is in stop mode to play the tracks on your CD in random order. Your CD will automatically start playing when you press the RANDOM button. Using headphones Plug your headphones (not supplied) into the PHONES socket on the front of the unit. Sound will automatically be cut off from the speakers. AUX TUNER CD MULTI FUNCTION DISPLAY IR STOP/ BAND SKIP/ TUN. PLAY/ PAUSE SKIP/ TUN. Using the Tuner STAND BY MEMO/ C. ADJ VOLUME FM + ST TIMER/ MONO SLEEP MODE/ REMAIN PHONES Presetting radio stations AUX TUNER CD POWER/STANDBY PLAY/PAUSE STOP/BAND Find the radio station that you want to make a preset station. MULTI FUNCTION DISPLAY i Information Make sure that you have extended the FM aerial before using the tuner function. If you disconnect the mains power to your unit, you will lose all of your previously stored stations unless you have fitted back up batteries. ADJ MODE/ REMAIN PHONES VOLUME · Press the REPEAT/M-UP button on the remote control continually to select which preset number the station will be set to. · Press the MEMO/C.
