VCR Not Recording - No Tape The VCR cannot record because there is no tape inserted. VCR Is Currently Playing 18 The VCR cannot record because it is currently playing a tape. If the channel is changed on the television, it will affect the recording. However, menus and OSDs will not affect the recording. VCR Recording Preset The VCR is recording one of its own channels. The television can be switched off and recording will not be affected. Tape Is Write Protected The VCR cannot record because the tape write protect tab is missing. VCR Is Already Recording The VCR cannot record because it is already recording. e. g. : Press number key 2, twice for `A', three times for `B' and four times for `C'. Press O.
