Images recorded with "16:9 On" (aspect ratio 16:9) specified will be played back with the setting used during recording regardless of the 16:9 setting then being used. The characters of dates and titles will be longer in the vertical direction on a wide-screen TV and on the LCD monitor of this DVD video camera/recorder. When "16:9 On" is specified, black bands will appear across the top and bottom of LCD monitor screen (except on menu or Disc Navigation screen, or playback image recorded with "16:9 Off" is specified).
