MAIN MENU The Main Menu is accessed, pressing the MENU key. NAVIGATING THE CHANNEL LIST In the channel table [UP] or [DOWN] keys serves for moving the focus to the previous or next channel, RED BUTTON / GREEN BUTTON for page up and page down. To watch a specific channel highlight it using, [UP] or [DOWN] then press SELECT key while the SELECT button is highlighted. Then the name and number of the selected channel will be displayed in the top-right corner of the screen. If the selected channel is password protected then a pop up menu is displayed. If the correct code is entered then the selected channel can be watched. After the password box disappears, you can navigate through the other channels using the [UP] or [DOWN] keys. The scroll Bar in middle of the screen shows relative position of the currently visible channels with respect to the whole list. The items accessed through the Main Menu are: 1. ) Channel List 3. ) Timers 2. ) Favourites 4. ) Settings - 11 - DELETING UNWANTED CHANNEL To delete a channel highlight it using [UP] and [DOWN] and RED/GREEN buttons, then highlight the Delete button using [LEFT] or [RIGHT] keys and press SELECT. A message is displayed to confirm your decision, if you still want to delete press SELECT once more and the channel will be deleted, else the operation will be cancelled if you select NO. RENAMING CHANNELS To rename a specific channel, the name must be highlighted and then select the Edit Name button and SELECT key must be pressed. The name appears on the right side of the menu with the first character highlighted. Now [LEFT] or [RIGHT] keys moves to the previous/next character. [UP] or [DOWN] toggles the current character, i. e. , b character becomes a on UP and c on DOWN. Pressing the numeric buttons 0. . . 9 replaces the highlighted character with the characters printed above the button one by one as the button is pressed. Pressing MENU cancels the editing and SELECT saves the new name. FAVOURITES Favourite lists provide an easy way to group programs in a customizable way. Five favourite lists are available on this product named as List1, List2, List3, List4 and List5. To a c c e s s t h e f a v o u r i t e m e n u p r e s s MENU then use [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to highlight favourites and press SELECT to enter the Edit favourite Lists menu. Press SELECT to add the highlighted programme to your list and continue to add the programmes you want included in your favourites. Once complete press MENU to save your settings. To access your favourites follow the steps below: 1. Press MENU button. 2. Press [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to highlight SETTINGS and press SELECT to enter. 3. Press SELECT again to enter the Configuration menu. 4. Use the [UP] and [DOWN] to highlight Favourite Mode and press the [LEFT] or [RIGHT] buttons to select your preferred favourite list (e. g. 6. Now when you press the P-/P+ buttons only the programmes selected in your favourites list will appear on the screen. ADDING LOCKS TO CHANNELS Channel Locking provides a password-protected access to channels selected by parents. [. . . ] Other channels have digital teletext pages broadcast alongside the television programme and often include a reducedsize broadcast picture within digital teletext pages. These usually require the [TEXT] button to be pressed to activate the digital teletext pages.
