The power comes on automatically and the tape indicator lights on the display. · When a cassette without its safety tab is inserted, playback starts automatically. pic pic 3 Press the PLAY button to start playing the tape. · When you connect the VCR and DSS® box via a digital A/V cable and play back a D-VHS tape, the D-VHS indicator will light and the VCR will automatically enter the D-VHS playback mode. pic pic Note: It takes several seconds until a picture appears. · If the digital A/V cable comes unplugged during D-VHS playback, playback will stop.
