By pressing the up and down buttons, program the heater to turn off up to 16 hours from the current time in increments of 1 hour. After setting the timer, the LED display will return to show the current room temperature. For HFH6408 only, a LED will illuminate to show that the timer is activated. After the predetermined length of time has passed, the heater will automatically shut off. While the heater is off, press and hold the up and down buttons simultaneously. By pressing the up and down buttons, program the heater to turn on up to 16 hours in advance of current time in increments of 1 hour. After the preset length of time has passed, the heater will automatically turn on at the last mode setting that was programmed. If no program was set, the heater will turn on Auto Mode HI Power at 75° for a preset time of 2 hours.
